Doorway Pec Stretch
Pectoralis major, sternal fibers · 20–40s per arm
- 1Place the forearm flat on a doorframe with the elbow at shoulder height
- 2Step the same-side foot through the doorway
- 3Rotate the chest away from the arm until you feel a broad pull across the pec
- 4Keep the shoulder blade pulled back and down — do not let it round forward
Why it helps: Restores the horizontal range pressing takes away and opens the front of the shoulder.
If you feel a pinch in the front of the shoulder joint, lower the elbow below shoulder height.
